Arnott’s Tim Tam Cookies has launched its annual consumer promotion and regional sampling campaign in Canada. Promotional workers will engage consumers with Tim Tam Slam demonstrations in Toronto and at the National Women’s Show in Montréal, distributing product information and high-value coupons.

Concord Sales Ltd., the Canadian distributor of Tim Tam Cookies in Canada, has also launched an online contest at in which consumers who match the phrase “Tim Tam Slam” could win daily prizes of Tim Tam Slam Coffee Break Kits and get entered to win a Weekend Spa Get-a-Way. The initiative is again supported by Facebook media campaign and retail POS.

"Last year’s consumers response was overwhelming, and this year again we are looking to engage them within the social media as that is where they spend most of their leisure time," said Tina Ryan of Concord Sales Ltd. "We want consumers to experience the unique taste sensation of Tim Tam Slam any time they feel the need for a special indulgent treat in their day.” The eight-week program was developed by OptiCom InterActive of Oakville, Ontario and will run until April 30, 2011.
