Two-Day Google Analytics Users’ Great Event (GAUGE) Co-Located With eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit in San Francisco

First-of-Kind Two-Day User Conference and Training Day Dedicated Entirely to Google Analytics Users

Today, the eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit announced the addition of the Google Analytics Users’ Great Event (GAUGE) as a co-located event, taking place March 17 and 18. The first event of its kind, GAUGE will provide attendees with both a fundamental understanding of Google Analytics as well as a hands-on series of training seminars covering Google Analytics fundamentals, marketing analysis and analyst training and technical/implementation training.

Expert-led, user-to-user collaborative sessions provide the opportunity to learn from Google Analytics pros and peers who share their valuable insight and knowledge gained through the years of experience.

The first day includes a morning keynote, learning sessions and a one-on-one expert Helpdesk throughout the day. An afternoon Q&A session with the Google Analytics team is followed by an evening reception.

  •     Phil Mui, group product manager for Google Analytics, presents “What’s New with Google Analytics.”
  •     Nick Mihailovski of Google and Dave Eckman of VKI Studios lead the “API Advanced” track.
  •     Caleb Whitmore, founder, Analytics Pros and co-author of “Performance Marketing with Google Analytics” discusses “Getting Clean Data”
  •     John Hossack of VKI Studios presents “Website Optimization” and “More than the Clickstream”
  •     Corey Koberg of WebShare presents “Custom Variable Madness” and “More than the Clickstream”
  •     Feras Ahlou of E-Nor leads “Configuration Best Practices”
  •     Alex Langshur of PublicInsite teams up with Dave Booth of WebShare to discuss the “Hour of Power”

The second day offers classroom-style instruction for those interested in basic, intermediate and advanced Google Analytics training.
