Launching During National Sleep Awareness Week, Package Features Hotel’s Top Ten Slumber-Inducing Amenities

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of its renowned Sleep Concierge, The Benjamin hotel is offering traveler’s “The Perfect Sleep,” a package featuring the luxury executive hotel’s top ten sleep-inducing remedies, launching during National Sleep Awareness Week, March 7-13, 2011.

The Benjamin’s “The Perfect Sleep” package, starting at $249 a night and valid through December 30, 2011, features its signature “good night’s sleep” in a one-bedroom suite, a bedtime snack of The Benjamin’s famous PB&J sandwich, consultation with the Sleep Concierge, use of the newly enhanced sleep menu, complimentary 25-minute massage at the Wellness Spa, two “night caps” at The National, custom Benjamin eye mask, lavender turndown and late check-out. Guests will also receive the Sleep Concierge’s top ten sleep tips card at turndown.

To ensure that guests receive a perfect night’s sleep, ten years ago The Benjamin employed a full-time Sleep Concierge, the first and only in the industry, to offer guests advice on pillow selection and other sleep-related issues and backed it up with its sleep guarantee. Over the past 10 years, the Sleep Concierge has counseled thousands of guests by arranging a relaxing massage at the hotel’s Wellness Spa; ordering a signature bedtime snack of warm milk and cookies or other sleep-inducing room service choices; to setting up a bedside white noise machine that electronically drowns out any stray background noise.

National Sleep Awareness Week takes place March 7-13, 2011 and is a public education, information and awareness campaign coinciding with the return of Daylight Saving Time, the annual “springing forward” of clocks that can throw off the body’s sleep routine.
