The focus of the discussion is to dispel some of the myths about PVC, using fact-based data from sources such as EPA, Energy Information Administration and plastic Europe. In addition, this educational discussion will focus on the “Green” attributes of Versatex cellular PVC trimboards that qualify it for the NAHB Green Seal of Approval, and why Versatex cellular PVC is safer for use on your home and the environment than other competing products.

VERSATEX® Trimboard is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor at the 3rd Annual Workshop for TW Perry, the leading building materials dealer in the Baltimore-Washington area to be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at George Mason University. The all-day event brings together the nation’s top experts and leading product manufacturers to help homebuilders, remodelers, architects, and homeowners stay on top of the latest trends and innovations in green building. John Pace stated, “I am honored to be chosen as a speaker at this year’s TW Perry Green Building Workshop and welcome the opportunity to present our environmental platform to architects, builders and remodelers. We live and work green everyday at VERSATEX® Trimboard - our innovative and practical environmental solutions to reduce the impact of our plant and products on the community through recycling and conservation efforts, presents a corporate culture not exhibited by similar polymer based companies, and we are pleased to share our expertise.”

They will also earn Continuing Education Credits through the American Institute of Architects, the National Association of Home Builders, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, and the Green Building Certification Institute. Homeowners will gain valuable knowledge about how to make their homes more environmentally friendly and energy efficient.
