Unfortunately, celebratory events are notorious for driving home drunk. I hope to provide rides home to as many people as I can to promote safety and participation to this worthwhile cause,” said Mickey Roberts.

In an effort to promote responsible drinking and the use of designated drivers, local attorney Mickey Roberts, also known as MR GA DUI, is providing free limo rides home from the 2011 Shamrock & Roll at Meehan's Public House in Sandy Springs on Saturday, March 12 to benefit a childhood cancer research and prevention organization, the St. Baldrick's Foundation, in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.

Free limo rides for the 10 mile radius surrounding the event will be provided by Atlanta VIP Ride, and will be offered between 9p.m. and 1 a.m. Participants must reserve their ride at the event entrance's MR GA DUI check-in table. Ride information, along with free giveaways like MR GA DUI koozies and key chains will also be available at the check-in table. MR GA DUI is also sponsoring a cornhole game for event patrons, priced $1 per participant. All cornhole proceeds go directly to the St. Baldrick's foundation. Cornhole game rules will be posted on MR GA DUI's website and Meehan's Facebook page.

Meehan's (Sandy Springs) and 92.9 DaveFM's 4th Annual Shamrock and Roll is presented by Guinness®. The event is expected to draw over 3,000 people and will feature live music, including Ed KOWALZCYK, Uno Dos Tres Catorce, Stevi Monce, and Fransisco Vidal. This outdoor event will last from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., but live music will continue inside Meehan's afterward. $10 tickets can be purchased online, or for a little more at the event. All proceeds benefit the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

The event will also feature fifty-two people (and counting) who have already volunteered to shave their heads to raise money for St. Baldrick's and demonstrate their support for the organization. This head shaving tradition will begin at 2pm and will be lead by popular DaveFM DJ, Sully. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is dedicated to raising money for children's cancer research to find cures and enhance the future of survivors. More U.S. children die from cancer than any other disease, making awareness increasingly important.

His 4th year providing free rides during St. Patrick's Day events, MR GA DUI explained of the tradition's importance, "As an Atlanta DUI attorney, I regularly see how driving under the influence can negatively affect people's lives. Unfortunately, celebratory events are notorious for driving home drunk. I hope to provide rides home to as many people as I can to promote safety and participation to this worthwhile cause," said Mickey Roberts.
