Collingwood, ON and Charlottetown, PE (PRWEB) March 9, 2011
Alpine Ontario today announced it has selected ScreenScape, the leaders in community-based digital signage, to power a digital signage network that will bring together its 44 member ski clubs. ScreenScape-powered screens will present ski-related digital content at key locations where Alpine Ontario members congregate.
Alpine Ontario joins the growing ski community on ScreenScape which already includes Toronto Ski Club, Alpine Ski Club, Caledon Ski Club, Craigleith Ski Club, Beaver Valley Ski Club, Devil's Glen Country Club and Mansfield Ski club.
"We have so many events, races, and programs going on in the season. ScreenScape can help us get our message in front of the member community. Not only can we push Alpine Ontario content to each of the member clubs as they join our Group, they each have the opportunity to promote local ski club information to their members. This media network can unify our organization and create a powerful channel for communications." stated Nancy Esson, President of Alpine Ontario.
Alpine Ontario represents 44 member ski clubs, approximately 30,000 active racers, coaches, officials and volunteers in its four divisions including LSDA (Lake Superior Division Alpine, NOD (Northern Ontario Division), AOSD (Alpine Ontario South Division and NCD (National Capital Division).
"It's a win for the clubs, but it's also a win for our sponsors. We can now feature them on the network to give them extra coverage when they sponsor an event or program. It's another great way to recognize their support and it's meaningful when it's on site at the ski clubs - which is often the audience they are trying to reach with their advertising. The ease of programming content on ScreenScape will allow us to explore these options with sponsors and partners in a timely manner." continued Esson.
"It's phenomenal what's happening with ScreenScape and the skiing community. By providing a platform for Alpine Ontario to promote fund-raising, events, ski camps, race results, and so on, Alpine Ontario is able to create what effectively is their own media network. This can enhance their partnerships and increase communication with their member clubs in countless ways." said ScreenScape President and CEO, Kevin Dwyer. "Not to forget...this will connect Alpine Ontario to the larger ScreenScape Community to give them access to potential partners at a national and international level."
