UGL Services™, a division of UGL Limited (ASX: UGL), has been certified again by ISSA, The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association, under the ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS). UGL Services, an early participant in the CIMS certification program, is also one of the first to receive the new CIMS-Green Building (CIMS-GB) certification.

Compliance with the Standard demonstrates that UGL Services' cleaning operations are structured to deliver consistent, quality services. CIMS certification has become a requirement in many cleaning service bid specifications as building owners and managers seek effective ways to identify exemplary cleaning service providers that are committed to customer satisfaction.

UGL Services received the CIMS designation because it demonstrates quality systems; service delivery; human resources; health, safety and environmental stewardship; and management commitment. The company also successfully participated in a comprehensive assessment of its management and operations conducted by an independent, accredited assessor. The CIMS-GB designation was granted in recognition of UGL Services' commitment to green and sustainable cleaning programs through its UGL Services GreenClean® program.

"We recognize the importance of the Cleaning Industry Management Standard and Green Building certifications to our customers," said UGL Services Vice President of Operations Support John Kennedy. "We have incorporated safe, sustainable procedures, proven innovative technology and the best management practices into our service delivery. It is gratifying to earn industry recognition of our approach."

Further information about CIMS certification is available on the ISSA website at http://issa.com/?id=cleaning_industry_management_standard_cims&lg.
