“In the past few years alone, media has become content, brands have become publishers, consumers took over the marketing department, and we’ve turned into a designer of everything related to the multi-screen user experience," said Morey.
Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 21, 2011
Agency Founder Glenn Morey unveiled the new brand today and cited the shift to focus the agency’s business on user experience design and business development strategy for media properties, publishers, and ventures.
“Marketing in today’s world bears little resemblance to when the agency was founded in 1989. The last fifteen years have been transformational to say the least,” said Morey. “In the past few years alone, media has become content, brands have become publishers, consumers took over the marketing department, and we’ve turned into a designer of everything related to the multi-screen user experience.”
Now as Shift 1, the agency continues its long-term relationship as product developer and marketing partner for Vehix.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast Corporation and will expand to the launch of new ventures, media properties, and related intellectual property, in huge contrast to its legacy as a traditional, fee-paid advertising agency.
“I am proud of what we've accomplished in the past 15 years,” said Morey. “The firm has been known, for most of its history, as an award-winning branding and advertising agency with its principal focus on television. Moving forward as Shift 1, we’ll focus on the new marketing landscape and no matter what ventures we get into next, we know it’ll be fun, and it’ll be exciting. And that’s what happens when you look down at your keyboard and hit Shift 1.”
