Century 21 Affiliated-Chicago will be celebrating its grand opening on Friday, March 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Spybar, located at 303 West Erie Street.
Century 21 Affiliated ("Affiliated") entered the Chicago market in February 2011 to re-launch the Century 21 brand in the downtown area and to bring a proven operating platform to the large and fragmented Chicago residential real estate market.
With 30 locations across the Midwest and over 32 years of history, Century 21 Affiliated is a leading residential real estate brokerage firm and one of the top 8 Century 21 franchisees worldwide. Affiliated has over 450 agents and completed in excess of $6 billion in transaction volume and 4,500 transactions in 2010.
Leading the Chicago operations is Sandesh Bilgi as president and Tom Bretz as chief executive officer. Bilgi is the former COO of Jameson Real Estate and Managing Broker with Century 21 Sussex and Reilly. Bretz is a principal at the Chicago firm Elmdale Partners LLC and has over 15 years of experience in real estate brokerage, operations, and acquisitions. Adam Freeman, also a principal at Elmdale, is chief financial officer.
Of the launch, Bigli said, "The goal is to bring the international brand of the largest real estate company in the world back to Chicago, specifically, the downtown market of young and ambitious urban professionals. The opportunity is there, and we are extremely excited."
