SRC, a leading provider of dictation workflow and clinical information solutions, has announced record growth in 2010 and expansion of the SRC healthcare division. This follows a further 12 NHS Trusts deploying trust wide SRC dictation workflow and clinical information solutions in 2010. Overall, this takes the number of healthcare organisations using SRC solutions to over 60, with almost 40,000 individual users.
SRC reported the successful deployment of the SRC Dictation Workflow solution at customers throughout the UK, including:
- Five NHS Trusts in the North West region;
- Four NHS Trusts in South of England and London regions;
- And the largest deployment of digital dictation in the UK at Nottingham University Hospitals.
In 2010, SRC delivered trust wide deployments of the Clinical Information Toolkit to three NHS Trusts, delivering step changes in the accuracy and timeliness of discharge summaries and other clinical correspondence produced by these hospitals.
Similarly, SRC also experienced strong demand for its range of desktop and server based speech recognition solutions in the healthcare and legal markets. Recent legal deployments have been completed at Boult Wade Tennant and Wheelers Solicitors LLP.
In order to support this expansion and ensure the ongoing delivery of SRC’s unrivalled implementation and 24/7 support services, SRC has recently made a number of new appointments.
Laura Heath has been appointed as Operations Director, managing the expanded implementation, system integration, training and support teams. Laura joins SRC from iSoft, where she headed up UK professional services and systems integration groups, and brings extensive experience in the management and delivery of complex software solutions in both healthcare and commercial markets.
Chris Rodwell joins SRC as Head of Healthcare New Business Sales. Chris has held managerial sales and business development roles in healthcare and public sectors for over 15 years, and he is leading the expanded SRC team of experienced healthcare sales professionals.
The company has also recently opened a North of England technical support and implementations centre to provide locally based services to our growing number of customers in the North West and North East regions.
Chris Hart, CEO SRC, commented: "Continued development of the SRC team enables us to provide our healthcare and legal customers with access to leading edge solutions, which help maximise efficiencies and deliver improved patient care and customer service. All this is backed by our high quality UK based development, deployment and support services. 2011 is already shaping up to be an exciting year, with new roll outs of the SRC Dictation Workflow Solution at East Cheshire NHS Trust and Whipps Cross University Hospital and several speech recognition deployments within the legal sector.”
