Oak Interactive Wins Big at ADDY Show in Houston

Oak Interactive leaves the 49th AAF – Houston ADDY Award Show with both Gold and Silver, as their company continues to grow. It was on February 19, 2011 when the Company received recognition, with a Gold ADDY Award, for their work on the “BMX Isn’t Dead” Pearland Speedway poster campaign. The Poster was a project developed for Pearland BMX Bicycle Racing. The poster has been used to advertise Pearland’s Friday and Saturday night races in an effort to increase awareness.

Oak Interactive leaves the 49th AAF – Houston ADDY Award Show with both Gold and Silver, as their company continues to grow.

It was on February 19, 2011 when the Company received recognition, with a Gold ADDY Award, for their work on the “BMX Isn’t Dead” Pearland Speedway poster campaign. The Poster was a project developed for Pearland BMX Bicycle Racing. The poster has been used to advertise Pearland’s Friday and Saturday night races in an effort to increase awareness.

“We are very proud of our wins,” Oak Interactive CEO Moses Robles said, “It is definitely a result of our growing team.” The AAF – ADDY Award Show represents advertising from the entire Houston area.

The Houston based Company received recognition at the Award Show with three Silver Awards, one of which for the Pearland Speedway campaign poster series. The other two Silver Awards went to their work on an interactive project for Karrus Force Protection and a new website for Shuckers Patio Grill, a Plano, Texas restaurant.

The Company was awarded with a Citation of Excellence for their work on a New Year’s Eve Poster for an event hosted by Messina Hof, a local Texas Winery and Resort.

Additionally the team walked away with Citations for Bodega’s Taco Shop, Haven Hospice, Flying Saucer, and their own company’s new rebranding logo.

Creative Director, Jeff Long accepted the awards with Jr. Art Director, Chris Angelo, who joined the team late last year. V.P. David Malamud, Ad Operations Manager Gabriela Campos, and Account Coordinator Dominic Dames were in attendance as well.

“We look forward to being a part of this Event every year,” Long said, “It’s an honor to be recognized for our team’s hard work.”
