Yakovetic is currently one of Disneyland’s top selling artists in fine art. Most of his original paintings have sold the same day of hanging. Dubbed the “Painter of Shadows,” by Disneyland guests, fans look for shadows and other images hidden in his paintings. John Lassiter, of PIXAR, selected Yakovetic to be featured at Disneyland’s Snow White 70th Anniversary Event. Yakovetic’s paintings were well received and sold the day of the event.

In 2009, Yakovetic joined Warner Bros. Consumer Products in celebrating the 70th Anniversaries of “The Wizard of OZ” and “Gone With the Wind,” by creating a line of fine art paintings. Yakovetic Productions plans to debut these original paintings along with limited edition gicleés, for sale On-Line, at Storyopolis Global Entertainment the premiere source for art in the illustrated genre. His “Surrender Dorothy” painting has been used as a limited edition US Postage stamp.

Matt Abramowitz, Owner of Storyopolis Global Entertainment, exclaims, “ We are thrilled to have Yakovetic debut his original paintings with us! He has brought some of the greatest icons from the Film Industry to an art market that is longing for nostalgic images that give them a wonderful feeling each time they see them”.
