Entertainment website BuzzFocus.com Announces First Annual TV Spring Madness Tournament

Fans and readers to vote on their favorite television shows in a college basketball style tournament bracket.

Hot on the heels of a site relaunch, entertainment portal BuzzFocus.com (http://www.buzzfocus.com) has announced its first annual TV Spring Madness tournament, a fan-based competition of the readership's favorite television shows. While sporting enthusiasts stay glued to the NCAA® Men's Division I Basketball Championship this month, 32 of the hottest TV shows will be battling for small screen supremacy on BuzzFocus.com.

The competition has been broken down into four conferences. By navigating to http://www.buzzfocus.com/springmadness/ , readers and fans can vote for their favorite TV shows to advance to the next round. There will five rounds of play culminating with a championship round that coincides with the NCAA® finals in April.

The tournament runs starting on March 9, 2011, one week in advance of the NCAA® Tournament. The schedule for each round is as follows:

First Round: Wednesday, March 9 – Tuesday, March 15, 2011
Second Round: Thursday, March 17 – Tuesday, March 22, 2011
Third Round: Thursday, March 24 – Monday, March 28, 2011
Final Four: Tuesday, March 29 – Saturday, April 2, 2011
Championship: Sunday, April 3 – Monday, April 4, 2011

*All Voting Ends at 9PM PST unless otherwise noted

Shows with the majority vote in their bracket will advance to the next round and one will be crowned the first ever champion of the BuzzFocus.com TV Spring Madness Tournament.
