Angels Gate Cultural Center in Angels Gate Park (also known as Korean Friendship Bell) is opening a jujitsu school on April 5th, 2011.
This school is the headquarters of Mikazuki Jujitsu, a traditional jujitsu style that utilizes striking, grappling, throwing and Ki (energy) development within its three weekly classes.
Chief Instructor Kambiz Mostofi said “Mikazuki Jujitsu builds self confidence; helps individuals with concentration problems achieve greater focus, boosts self esteem, prepares individuals for self defense, and creates an atmosphere of success”
The classes which are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays start at 4pm and have received positive feedback from high school students and their parents seeking after school programs in which to enroll.
Director of Operations Christian Ramos said “The purpose of this is to provide a positive environment for the community and to share the physical, spiritual, and mental benefits which are gained from the practice of traditional jujitsu.”
Classes are $99 per month. For more information call 424-2500-MMA or visit http://www.MikazukiJujitsu.com.
