Chaotic Moon is a great partner for us, they have a deep understanding of how the tablet computer is changing the consumption of news and share our belief in the power of rich content.
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 11, 2011
When world-renowned media giant News Corporation chose to embark on one of its most ambitious endeavors to date, it reached out to the creative minds of Chaotic Moon Studios for a partnership in the app development for the first-ever fully digital daily publication, The Daily. Launched in February, The Daily has been publishing around a 100 pages of original, interactive content a day about news, sports, gossip and celebrity, opinion, arts and life, and apps and games.
In order to successfully bring iPad users a digital news publication delivered every morning, News Corporation -- the world leader in news, sports, and entertainment – chose to partner with Chaotic Moon Studios to make this vision a reality and create a unique and interactive digital experience that would change the way people consumed news.
“From the very beginning, we collaborated with News Corp. and The Daily to develop a blueprint for their product strategy, which included designing an experience and media platform like the world has never seen before,” said Ben Lamm, Chief Creative Officer of Chaotic Moon Studios. “To make this dream a reality, we applied the same principles making us the industry leader in mobile media today. We worked with The Daily to help design the product, develop the vision, and launch a world-class application. We are extremely proud to work alongside The Daily team, as well as to have played a role in launching the most innovative and revolutionary digital media experience of the 21st century.”
To ease daily production, Chaotic Moon Studios created custom interactive content modules to give the editorial team the maximum amount of rich media and flexibility needed to create compelling, fun content on the iPad.
“Building The Daily app from the ground up required the efforts of a highly skilled team,” said Greg Clayman, publisher of The Daily. “Chaotic Moon is a great partner for us, they have a deep understanding of how the tablet computer is changing the consumption of news and share our belief in the power of rich content.”
