Prevo Drugs (http://www.prevodrugs.com), the hometown pharmacy since 1972, continues its long tradition of growth and personalized service to Randolph county residents. Prevo has expanded its staff to offer additional professional and efficient service with the addition of Chip Owens, RPh and Sara Beth Craven, PharmD. Prevo has also contracted with Stein MarCom Consulting to expand its business with marketing outreach and customer communication.
Chip Owens graduated from Wake Forest University in 1966 and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy in 1972. He is a retired LTC in the US Army reserves, retired from CVS pharmacy after 37 years of service and has now joined Prevo Drugs stating, “I am pleased to be working with such a wonderful group of friendly, talented people and have the opportunity to provide the Asheboro community an extremely important service – medication and health management.” Chip is married with three grown daughters, four grandchildren and one on the way!
Sara Beth Craven is graduating from the Wingate University School of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy program in May 2011. Sara Beth has served the patients at Prevo Drugs part-time since May 2003 and will be joining the professional team full-time in June 2011. Sara Beth holds APhA Immunization and RX for Change in Tobacco Cessation certifications. Her focus at Prevo will be immunizations and diabetes counseling. She enthusiastically states, “I look forward to continuing to work with the patients and staff on a more regular basis. My goal is to provide the quick, accurate and friendly customized service that Prevo is known for.” Sara Beth grew up in Randolph County and it engaged to be married in May!
