Monscierge installs an additional 40-inch touch screen on the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel property.

Part of the Renaissance platform is to help guests discover and find hidden gems. Monscierge touch screens help them have access to that. It's a good fit for us in that way.

Monscierge announces the installation of their second touch screen at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel to take place later this week. The new Monscierge 40 will be located in the hotel’s concierge lounge. The initial Monscierge install at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel, a Monscierge 47 in the hotel lobby, was just before this year’s Consumer Electronic Show. Expansion into Las Vegas is a huge step for any business serving the hospitality industry.

“Las Vegas is a technology and industry-savvy city, with some of the biggest hotels in the world,” said Barrett Huffmyer, Monscierge VP of Sales. “There are annual conventions as well as both business and leisure travelers –– Las Vegas is a melting pot for the hospitality industry. Working with the Renaissance is a good fit for our touch screens in a great location. There is so much to do in Vegas that hotel recommendations are vitally important.”

For the Las Vegas Renaissance Hotel, Monscierge furthers traveler convenience and a guest service goal.

“What excites me is that it is focused on information guests seek,” said Tom Xavier, General Manager, Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel. “Our staff loves it and our guests have taken to them. They can access whatever information they want at their convenience, whether it’s local attractions, entertainment or dining options. And, it’s much better than information just scrolling by on a screen. Part of the Renaissance platform is to help guests discover and find hidden gems. Monscierge touch screens help them have access to that. It's a good fit for us in that way.”

Monscierge offers guests information about hotel amenities as well as hotel recommendations for casinos, restaurants and local entertainment, and tools for any traveler. Guests can access flight check-in, boarding pass printing, custom directions, maps and weather forecasts.

“Monscierge is continuing to look for ways to add to the guest experience. With the talk of an iPad app coming out, Monscierge is becoming more useful and interactive.”

In addition to convenient services, the continual push for guest-centered innovation at Monscierge and the expansion of the product line is an advantage for both the company and their partners.

The Monscierge 40 installation at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel is scheduled for Thursday, March 17th.
