Alaskan Yachts, Inc. recently shipped a new 65' Alaskan motor yacht from their shipyard in Taipei, Taiwan. This new yacht was featured at the Miami International Yacht Show last month and is available for sea trials and inspection by interested clients prior to the Palm Beach Boat Show later this month.
Alaskan Yachts continues to build and develop new models at their Taiwanese ship yard and currently have a new 70' Alaskan raised pilot house under construction which will be unveiled at the 2011 Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show this October.
"We have been very fortunate with the cooperation and coordination of our Taiwan labor force over the last 20 years and we look forward to another 20 years working with them," explained Louis Dvorak, Sales Director of Alaskan Yachts.
"The Taiwanese workers have an excellent work ethic and constantly produce a high quality product for us," Dvorak continued, "a product that we are very proud to brand Alaskan."
Although many yacht dealers in America market yachts built in Taiwan, few have been doing so as long as Alaskan Yachts and no one else owns their own molds and tooling to build their yachts.
"Typically, the Taiwanese ship yards own the molds and tooling and the American dealers simply sell those yachts in America," said Dvorak. "However, when we developed the Alaskan motor yacht line, we decided to build our own molds and tooling so that we could have complete control the quality and build process."
Alaskan Yachts builds custom motor yachts from 60' - 80', both flush deck and raised pilot house models. Please visit http://www.alaskanyachts.com to preview the complete line of Alaskan Yachts.
