Masterpiece Living, a successful aging initiative, has joined the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA), a professional association that leads, connects and defines the active-aging industry, as an ICAA 100 member. The ICAA 100 is a group of leaders who help guide the active-aging industry through their contributions to strategic planning and research and inspire their peers through their example.
“Our new involvement with the International Council on Active Aging is an exciting step for us,” says Dr. Roger Landry, President of Masterpiece Living. “ICAA’s high-quality education, information, resources and tools will help us expand the opportunities we offer to our partners. As an organization, we realize the critical importance of multidimensional wellness to improving quality of life and increasing longevity in older adults,” Landry continues. “Working with ICAA, we will continue to empower those we serve to age successfully, and play a greater role in supporting the industry.”
Colin Milner, CEO of ICAA, welcomes Masterpiece Living as an ICAA 100 member. “It is through visionary organizations such as Masterpiece Living that ICAA will be able to fulfill its mission of ‘Changing the way we age,’” says Milner. “Both organizations firmly believe that with the right opportunities and supportive environments, people of any age can strive towards better health and well-being, enjoy new challenges, and continue to learn and grow.”
