A workshop on “How Mobile Marketing Payment Devices Are Growing Businesses” will be offered by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce on March 25. The presenter will be Jennifer Maskrey, President of Global Tek Labs.
Global Tek Labs, http://globalteklabs.com, is the pioneer in today’s smartphone and tablet attachment design. Their first product to market was the AirePoint, a small and affordable attachment that turns any iPhone, iPod touch or iPad into a wireless credit card reader for fast, secure and convenient acceptance of mobile payments anywhere there is a cell or Wi-Fi signal. The ezPOS and ezPOS lite apps, designed to work with the AirePoint card reader and available in the Apple App Store, enable mobile merchants to complete a secure credit card transaction in less than one minute including signature capture and green email receipts. These fast and convenient “card present” transactions can also save merchants money on transactions fees. Global Tek Labs also offer custom smartphone app and hardware accessory development for numerous industries. Their international client base includes merchant service providers, retailers, restaurant chains and business solution software developers.
Jennifer Maskrey has twenty years of project management experience first as a research scientist, then movie producer, non-profit manager and now owner of a global technology company. She is also co-founder of Mac Medx, a Denver-based iPhone screen repair company. Jennifer Maskrey’s husband, Ken Maskrey, is Chief Design Engineer at the firm and author of the book, “Building iPhone OS Accessories: Use the iPhone Accessories API to Control and Monitor Devices”, published by http://www.Apress.com.
The free workshop is part of a half-day program on mobile marketing being offered by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, Qwest and TIE Rockies on March 25th from 1-5 PM. The location is 1445 Market Street #400, Denver. Advance registration required at http://rockies.tie.org.
