Officials with the Hutchinson Clinic have signed a letter of intent to purchase The Medical Center, P.A., in Hutchinson. The acquisition is expected to be completed by May 1, 2011 after additional business evaluation.
“Our leadership felt that this is a good time to make this change,” said William Savage, M.D., president of the Medical Center. We’re excited for our patients and employees to become part of an excellent organization providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art health care here in Kansas.”
The Medical Center is a multispecialty clinic providing health care to individuals, families and businesses in central Kansas, particularly to those in Reno and Rice counties. Served by 18 physicians, The Medical Center has two facilities in Hutchinson and one in Sterling, Kan.

The Hutchinson Clinic was founded in 1959 by five physicians and currently has 69 physicians and 600 employees.
