Agile Sciences expands Scientific Advisory Board to include industry expertise in membrane filtration applications

Agile Sciences, a company focused on providing commercial solutions to those industries plagued by the effects of biofilms, announced today that Dr. Thomas Engelhardt has joined the company’s Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Engelhardt will be advising on the development and implementation of Agile Sciences’ proprietary biofilm dispersion technology for use in the worldwide membrane filtration markets.

After graduating in 1987 with a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Wuerzburg in Germany, Dr. Engelhardt joined Ciba-Geigy where he spend the next 23 years in progressively expanding levels of management responsibility across a wide range of industries in the company’s specialty chemicals and water treatment businesses. Dr. Engelhardt is currently the Group Chief Technology Officer for China National Bluestar Corporation which is based in Beijing, China.
