Wauconda, IL (PRWEB) March 21, 2011 —
Fidelitone Logistics, an industry leader in third-party logistics and supply chain performance, has added supply chain solutions veteran Gary Manning to the Business Development team, with a focus on expanding the company’s Last Mile delivery business.
Manning comes to Fidelitone from NAL Worldwide, where he served as vice president of supply chain solutions, leading business development efforts in the telecommunications, media, retail and technology sectors. Previously, he spent 17 years at Burnham Service Company, in Columbus, Ga., where he developed supply chain solutions for telecommunications, utilities and technology companies and advised executive management on sales and operations. He began his career in supply chain as co-founder and COO of Electronics Transport, Inc., in Birmingham, Ala., a warehousing and distribution business dedicated to high-value, time-sensitive products like computers, copiers and related components. He helped grow the company from two employees to more than 400, with annual revenues in excess of $14 million, before it was purchased by Burhnam in 1983.
“With so much experience across such a broad range of business sectors, Gary will play a critical role in helping us grow our business as we continue to expand our network of logistics centers,” explained Fidelitone President Josh Johnson. “He has already stepped up to the plate on some significant opportunities and we look forward to his continued role as a leader in our sales organization.”
