People are continuing to need their apps developed. Businesses of all sizes and even individuals are logging into AppTank looking for the perfect developer.

With the launch of the iPad last spring and recent additions to the tablet race demand for developers to produce apps for these devices is on the rise. “We are seeing a growing amount of individuals and businesses in search for developers to develop their apps for devices such as the iPad and Android based tablets,” says Kayvon Olomi, founder of AppTank, a service that provides individuals and businesses a community to connect with app developers. “Since the launch of the second generation iPad, we have noticed higher submission rates of projects than what we have been trending in the months leading up to its release. It’s amazing to see how quickly businesses and individuals are adapting to these devices and applying them to their every day life.”
As mentioned on Wired.com, the results of a global survey show that app developers are going to be developing an average 6.5 apps for tablets in 2011, which is almost twice as many as last year. But don’t think developers are focusing all their attention on tablet apps. Apple has around 400,000 apps in their app store, however, the Android market is quickly catching up at around 250,00 apps within their market. There is still plenty of ground to make up within the Android market and the Apple engine isn’t showing any signs of slowing down either with recent additions of Cosmopolitan and Self Magazines iPad apps to their app store.
Olomi says, “People are continuing to need their apps developed. Businesses of all sizes and even individuals are logging into AppTank looking for the perfect developer.” Just how many people are searching for developers? AppTank alone is seeing submissions of over $100,000 in app projects a week. There is currently no slow down in sight and it is because of this increase in demand that AppTank is always looking for new developers to join the community.
AppTank is currently holding a promotion for new developers to the community by offering them $10 in free credits. “We want to show developers that at AppTank, you can bid in confidence knowing that all projects posted have gone through a qualification process. Instead of wasting time browsing through hundreds of pages of projects on other sites that don’t meet your standards or skill set, you can come to AppTank." But be sure to act quick on the promotion for it is only going to be good through April 30th 2011.
