Sato keeps creating and pumping out OTC drugs and supplements following Japanese earthquake and tsunami

One of Japan's largest over-the-counter drug makers, Sato Pharmaceutical, reports through its U.S. operation based in Torrance, that there were no injuries to its employees nor damages to its many factories in Japan due to the earthquake and tsunami.

Walter Morimoto, sales manager for Sato in the U.S, the company which sells dozens of different types of remedies, reports that no decrease in production levels or slow down in deliveries to the U.S. is expected.

In North America, Sato sells dozens of its products designed for self-medication purposes, such as Zentrip for motion-sickness, and Yunker energy supplements, through supermarkets, drugstores, nutrition stores and other outlets.

Founded in 1915, the parent company makes hundreds of products for virtually every form of self-medication, from toothpaste to health and beauty aids, and distributes them worldwide.
