Gateway Academy, a leading school for students with individualized learning styles in Houston, launched a new website today that furthers their mission of providing an environment that enables these children to develop the skills necessary to lead successful lives.

The Gateway Academy serves 7th—12th graders who have learning differences that impact social, academic, and critical thinking skills. Their students have learning disabilities such as Dyslexia, Language Delays, Asperger Syndrome, ADHD or Non-Verbal Learning Disabilities. The Gateway Academy fosters an environment that encourages these children to develop critical thinking skills, enhance their personal appreciation and foster a vision of their future self.

“Many children with learning disorders fail to flourish in typical learning environments,” Michele Bauman, Head of School at the Gateway Academy explains. “Our middle school and high school programs provide an environment that prepares our students for successful experiences in the workplace and college settings.”

The Gateway Academy, now in its 5th year of operations, developed this new website to add an integrated blog that will help foster a deeper understanding of the programs necessary to help these children succeed.
