Cox California is offering $500 college scholarships to graduating high school seniors in areas served by Cox in Orange County, Palos Verdes and Santa Barbara. The scholarships recognize students who have succeeded academically while also contributing to their communities through volunteer service.
Cox will award a $500 college scholarship to one eligible student applicant from every high school in the company’s service area.

Eligibility details and an online submission form are available at http://www.cox-cares.org/scholarships/. Applicants must complete and submit the form online by midnight on April 14, 2011, and include a letter of recommendation, college acceptance letter, high school transcript and signed release form. Submissions will be reviewed by a scholarship committee comprised of Cox associates, community and business leaders. Recipients will be announced in May.
