San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 28, 2011
Recurve (ACI Booth #: 601), a San Francisco-based provider of home performance software, today announced continued progress in the national rollout of its software for home performance contractors. Recurve Software is on display during the ACI National Home Performance Conference, March 28 - April 1 in San Francisco.
Over the last six months, dozens of contractor firms around the country have begun using Recurve Software including Green Home Solutions by Grupe in Stockton, California; EcoSmart Homes in Boulder, Colorado; Bright Homes in New York, and Energy360 Solutions in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, as well as firms in 12 other states.
Recurve Software - built on more than six years of front-line experience conducting energy audits and retrofits - enables home performance contractors to more accurately and profitably manage home energy auditing and retrofitting projects, while meeting government standards and ensuring better results for their customers.
As part of its evolution to a software company, Recurve will transition its home audit and green energy remodeling division to Advanced Home Energy, a Bay Area home performance contracting company, to better direct all of its resources to support growing customer demand for its home performance software.
“Demand for the Recurve Software has been outstanding and we anticipate continued increase in demand for the rest of this year and beyond,” said Andy Leventhal, CEO, Recurve. “The decision to focus all of our resources on our nationwide software rollout puts us in a strong position to support the nation’s contractors and the leading energy efficiency programs with the best home performance software available as they can keep pace with the uptick in home energy audits.”
As Energy Upgrade California gains momentum in its home state, Recurve is scheduled to receive approval from the California Energy Commission (CEC) for Recurve Software. This will make Recurve the second CEC-accredited home performance software in California, available to contractors who will perform an estimated 15,000 – 18,000 home energy audits in 2011 as part of the Energy Upgrade California program. Recurve Software already has received national accreditation by Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET), the nationally recognized leader for home energy rating systems and energy efficient mortgages for the home performance industry.
