In addition, versions are controlled by "effective dates", meaning the same tax profile can have different calculations based on effective dates. With this feature, both future and past government changes can be handled seamlessly. Nexonia's system also supports visible and invisible tax calculations, including optional support for manually overriding taxes. For example, in Canada Nexonia supports GST, HST, QST, recapture taxes and different tax rules for different expenses (e.g. meals versus non-meals).
