PI Worldwide today introduced two new licensed partners, Matches Consulting and Ostergaard & Co, both in Singapore. With these new partnerships, PI Worldwide furthers its global reach into a rapidly growing commercial business hub for Southeast Asia and creates new global resources for companies looking to apply the benefits of personality and human capital analytics to today’s global talent challenges. This expansion builds on a milestone year of growth for PI Worldwide, with a record 1.1 million Predictive Index® surveys administered globally in 2010, a 20 percent increase over 2009.
Matches Consulting and Ostergaard & Co will work with regional organizations to help manage global challenges in areas such as recruiting, team building and leadership development and provide critical in-region support and training for current PI Worldwide multinational clients. With Singapore’s growing dedication to building a robust talent pool, this expansion of PI Worldwide resources will bring the benefits of personality assessments to companies looking to take advantage of the strong talent pools in the region.
“PI Worldwide has been working with companies throughout North America, South America and Europe for more than 55 years to help them leverage the benefits of personality assessments in their recruiting, succession planning and talent development efforts,” said Nancy Martini, President and CEO of PI Worldwide. “As Asia continues to emerge as a key region for multinational businesses today, we are dedicated to ensuring that our current and future clients can rely on PI Worldwide’s expertise no matter where their business takes them.”
Matches Consulting is led by Hock Chong Oh who brings 25 years of experience in sales training, employee engagement and training program development and a long-standing track-record of success in aligning people, sales and business strategies in the IT, hospitality and airline industries. His 15 year career with SAP included successfully applying the data-driven insights from the Predictive Index. Axel Knudson and Nicolai Bro Winkel of Ostergaard & Co join the PI Worldwide network after more than a combined 45 years in various management and executive positions including tenures in the shipping and transportation industries at A.P. Moller-Maersk.
PI Worldwide has been steadily growing its network of partners in Asia Pacific over the last two years including the addition of Zhonghui CPA Ltd., based in China, which joined the PI Worldwide network in December, 2009. In 2010, PI Worldwide further expanded its corporate management team by 20 percent and worked with global organizations like SUBWAY®, McCann Erickson, Hershey’s® Food Corporation and Sonesta to turn PI assessment insights into results.
PI Worldwide has also introduced expanded language capabilities for its Predictive Index and the Sales Skills Assessment Tool™ (SSAT). The tools are now widely available to organizations in more than 67 languages including Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. New versions in Japanese and Korean are in development and will be available in the first quarter of 2011. The Predictive Index is also available in Burmese, Vietnamese and Thai.
The continued global expansion and language additions highlight the opportunity for organizations to help create common, universal ways to understand the individual employee characteristics outside of cultural or language barriers – both frequent challenges for companies to address in a workplace that is shifting to integrate teams across borders.
