To showcase the company’s ongoing commitment to emerging technologies - particularly mobile, and the new energy and enthusiasm within the company, Smart Online, Inc. recently underwent a major rebranding initiative. Starting from the logo, to product naming, and website changes, Smart Online now has an enthusiastic new persona. LoyaltyClicks and iMart are now operating under the name Smart Online. The various products and services offered are now operating as follows: Tap-n-Give™ and other related mobile solutions will be known as SmartOn™ Mobile; Shop To Give will be known as SmartOn™ Cause; and imart will be known as SmartOn™ CommUnity. These changes take effect immediately.
“Smart Online’s revitalizing new logo communicates a fun and inviting modern culture. The ‘S’ in an upward angle signifies growth from 3 perspectives: Career for employees, ROI for investors, and Value for our customers. The symbol also suggests the portrayal of a hand-shake, conveying committed partnerships, one of the core principles guiding our SmartOn™ philosophy. ‘Power On. Smart On.’, the new tagline, enforces the logo’s power-button style, and offers a sense of enablement in the eyes of our present and future customers,” says Bob Dieterle, Senior VP and General Manager at Smart Online.
“Smart Online’s investments over the past year reflect our new branding initiatives. Our heavy focus on emerging technologies, especially mobile, will blend well with a customer’s marketing mix. Our approach to technology is cost-effective and efficient; our technology architecture is now more modular, and multi-tenant, which provides our clients with great benefits especially in terms of time-to-market and unique solutions packages. It allows for quick and efficient packaging of tailored solutions from our SmartOn™ product suite, allowing customers to take advantage of all the different available modules. This combined with our deep industry insights, will now provide even better value to our clients,” says Michael Stocks, Smart Online’s VP of Development.
With the need for private community sharing features becoming more and more rampant, SmartOn CommUnity continues to allow associations, teams, and businesses to bring together people with shared interests through an online ‘CommUnity’, while maintaining privacy. SmartOn Cause will continue to provide the unique giving options as Shop To Give, but with a new name that reflects the company’s new identity. With extensive experience in e-Commerce, and in online marketplace solutions, they will continue to benefit nonprofit clients. Adds Bob Dieterle, “Our addition of unique social media features to this platform allows a nonprofit the opportunity to enlist its supporters to help virally expand the support base, and further increase revenue.”
“Today’s nonprofits need to be as mobile and nimble as their biggest supporters. With Smartphone sales exploding, customers are increasingly consuming important content, more often than not, on their smart phones. With a SmartOn™ Mobile solution, organizations can always connect with supporters – by fully utilizing a Smartphone’s capabilities. Our unique technology allows you to reach more than 80% of the Smartphone market by offering multi-platform native apps, while paying for the price of one!” says Tonia Zampieri, Director of Marketing at Smart Online.
