(AMS), a leading-edge market research and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Lori Weiner has joined the firm as a Senior Project Director working in both the Product & Process Innovation and Litigation Support practice areas of the company. With over 20 years of market research expertise, she will be responsible for overseeing research-based consulting engagements, including trademark infringement, patent damages, and the examination of product characteristics and business processes to inspire innovations in product, marketing, distribution, and support offerings.
Most recently, Ms. Weiner served as Vice President of Research and Consulting at the Information Technology Services Marketing Association (ITSMA), where she concentrated on the impact of brand and reputation in the IT services industry. Previously, she was a Director in the Services practice of the Gartner Consulting Technology Marketplace unit. In that position, she managed and conducted custom market research and consulting engagements ranging from product and market evaluations and assessments to competitive and strategic analyses using a variety of methodological approaches and analytical techniques. Before joining Gartner, Ms. Weiner was the Market Research Manager for Fleet Financial Group, where she focused on primary research activities for Fleet Bank and its subsidiaries.

Ms. Weiner holds a BA from Wellesley College and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she was elected a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.
