The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), Visible Homes, and AMERA Mortgage appear in a televised panel discussion focused on down payment assistance, tax credits and foreclosure prevention.

Eric Dusenbury with the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), Wes McCaig with Visible Homes real estate brokerage, and Donna Ferguson with AMERA Mortgage appear in a televised panel discussion focused on MSHDA’s lending products for homebuyers and homeowners. During the 30 minute discussion, several MSHDA programs were discussed, such as down payment assistance, below market interest rates, federal tax credits, and foreclosure prevention.

“We are honored to be part of these broadcasts that bring information about MSHDA programs to homeowners and potential homeowners who may not be aware of the help available to them,” said MSHDA Executive Director Gary Heidel. “We appreciate the opportunity to participate with Visible Homes and AMERA Mortgage to get the word out to our residents in the Oakland and Washtenaw county areas.”

“The lending products that are available from MSHDA are truly amazing,” said Wes McCaig, Broker / Owner of Visible Homes. “There is assistance for many Michigan homebuyers as well as homeowners. I think it is imperative for real estate and mortgage companies to inform their clients of these programs. Visible Homes is excited and proud to participate in promoting the states lending products.”

“As one the top producing Loan Officers of MSHDA mortgages in the state, I see firsthand the advantages the down payment assistance program brings to many homebuyers,” says Donna Ferguson, Loan Officer with AMERA Mortgage. “Not only can a qualifying homebuyer take advantage of the exceptional interest rates from MSHDA, the down payment assistance also allows them to purchase a home with only 1 percent down.”

These TV programs can be viewed on Access Ann Arbor, which cablecasts in Ann Arbor and Community Connection which cablecasts in Farmington, Farmington Hills and Novi.
