Westbury Group LLC, a mid-market investment bank, announced today that energy specialist John M. White has joined the firm as its thirteenth managing director and its first representative based in Houston, Texas.
Westbury also announced a relationship with Houston-based energy industry consultancy Triple Double Advisors, LLC headed by Arthur L. Smith. Westbury, a FINRA broker-dealer, provides mergers and acquisition (M&A) as well as fund-raising services for clients in transactions valued between $10 million to $250 million.

Mr. White has strong petroleum business experience. After earning a BBA in 1979 from the University of Oklahoma, he worked on acquisitions, divestitures, exploration and production projects mostly for BP. From 1996 to 2007, he was a securities analyst with John S. Herold, BMO Capital, Natixis, Bleichroeder and Braeswood Advisors. He will continue in his position as vice president of Triple Double Advisors. John is an active member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) and Houston Producers' Forum. He is also a board member of the non-profit Santa Maria Hostel.
