(“Monexa”), the leader in flexible subscription billing, announces that a US-based Fortune 500 specialty retailer is using a Monexa commerce solution to offer convenient and affordable pay-as-you go pricing for its consumer service products at its in-store point of sale terminals. Jointly developed and delivered through an authorized Monexa reseller, this unique solution is now in a pilot release phase. The retailer plans to expand this offering to over four thousand retail outlets across the United States by June, 2011.

Monexa Technologies Corp. (“Monexa”), the leader in flexible subscription billing, announces that a US-based Fortune 500 specialty retailer is using a Monexa commerce solution to offer convenient and affordable pay-as-you go pricing for its consumer service products at its in-store point of sale terminals. Jointly developed and delivered through an authorized Monexa reseller, this unique solution is now in a pilot release phase. The retailer plans to expand this offering to over four thousand retail outlets across the United States by June, 2011.

This is the first launch of this unique retail solution. Jointly developed by Monexa and one of its authorized resellers, the solution integrates with the retailer’s point of sale system to capture customer information and set up automatic future payments. For maximum customer convenience, a branded online self-service portal allows the retailer’s customers to take charge of their accounts and manage their services and payments without returning to the store.

Integration of the solution with the retailer’s point-of-sale systems began in the fourth quarter of 2010 and the first stores went into operation in February 2011.
