Emeryville, CA (PRWEB) April 5, 2011
Godengo, a provider of multimedia digital platforms for magazine publishers, announces thirteen new websites recently launched, which brings the total number of publications using Rivista to 134.
Cottages & Gardens, a luxury shelter publication covering territories in the Hamptons, Connecticut and Westchester, launched at the end of 2010 with a custom website built in-house by Godengo designers.
Natural Awakenings, a national healthy living publication with over 80 affiliate sites, launched in late December as well, along with the first of three affiliate publications: Chicago and Chicago North, Fairfield County and Collier & Lee Counties. To date, Godengo has added five more National Awakening affiliates, including Indianapolis, East Bay, South Jersey, Central Pennsylvania, and Middlesex, with more affiliate sites currently under development or poised to begin in the near future.
January saw the launch of Lake Lifestyles, with Augusta Magazine and Sonoma Index-Tribune/Sonoma Magazine following in March. Augusta Magazine is another Morris Publishing Group magazine to join with Godengo, and the staff at this magazine is currently working on the launch of sister publication Augusta Family. The Sonoma Index-Tribune and Sonoma Magazine site is the most recent addition, with both publications launching under the portal site sonomanews.com on March 22, 2011. This launch is the first of its kind for Godengo, as both a magazine publication and a newspaper use the same instance of Rivista to successfully feature their content online.
Says Bill Lynch, The Sonoma Index-Tribune publisher; “It is the ability of our staff to create rich, award-winning content that was the primary cause of us choosing Rivista as our new CMS. We need a partner like Godengo to take us to the next level.”
With the momentum of site launches building, Godengo has had to add new staff to compensate. “The last few months have proven to be successful very successful. We’re thrilled to have launched thirteen new quality sites for our partner magazine publishers,” said Peter Stilson, President & CEO of Godengo. “Our team of experts has been busy working directly with the publishers not only to get the sites live, but to provide the highest quality of customer service so the publishers get a product that will make their online business profitable.”
