Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 4, 2011
Logo.com, LLC announced the launch of Logo.com (http://www.logo.com), a new website that sells customized graphic design services such as logo design, website design, print design and illustration. The new site took several months to develop and was designed to provide small businesses and entrepreneurs with a simple and user friendly way to buy often complicated custom design services. To accomplish this, the company developed an online tool called the “Logo.com Workspace” that allows customers to comment, review and approve design concepts and revisions directly from their Logo.com account.
“The Logo.com Workspace that we’ve developed makes the design process extremely easy for our customers,” said Alan Townsend, co-founder of Logo.com. “Customers complete a simple, yet comprehensive design brief during checkout. Using that information, we create design concepts and upload them to the customer’s account. The customer receives an email notifying them that new files have been posted to their workspace and they click a link to review the designs. At that point, the customer can zoom in to view larger versions of the concepts, make comments and/or approve or disapprove the concepts. The Logo.com project manager receives the customer’s feedback instantly and can immediately integrate the customer’s input into the design project.”
While the new Logo.com Workspace makes it extremely easy for customers to buy design services, Townsend points out that it also improves the quality of Logo.com’s deliverables to customers and their designers have embraced it. “Our workspace tool makes delivery of the artwork to the customer and receiving feedback from the customer very simple, but we haven’t changed the way our designers design and create artwork, nor do we want to. What we’ve done is streamline communication between our customers and our project managers, allowing feedback to flow through to our designers quickly and accurately. By doing this, our designers have more time to work on a customer’s project and more time to be creative. That makes our designers happy and it translates into better quality designs for our customers,” said Townsend.
Logo.com has already received rave reviews from customers that have placed orders and used the Logo.com Workspace. Townsend appreciates the positive response, but understands that it’s a tool and should be used accordingly. “There will always be a human connection in the design process. No software will ever replace that connection. Our goal is to make that human connection with our customers even stronger by using technology.”
