Ohio Directory Introduces Free Ohio Showcase Profiles for Businesses, Other Web Sites

Regional Internet directory Ohio Cities today launched Ohio Showcase, free web site profiles that celebrate the value of Ohio businesses, cities, organizations, performing arts, Ohio attractions, Ohio travel and more.

Ohio businesses and organizations can get the recognition they deserve with free Ohio Showcase profiles from Ohio Cities, among the oldest regional Internet directories with links to companies, Ohio tourism web sites and Ohio attractions.

The new 250-word profiles are available at no charge for virtually all Ohio-based web sites, including companies, communities, organizations, causes, cultural arts and more.

“We want to put the spotlight on community pride, businesses that help the economy, and groups that make Ohio a great place to live,” said Ohioan Mike Murray, founder of Ohio Cities.

The special focus is from large and small cities alike, including Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, Akron, Youngstown, Canton, Mansfield, Lorain, Parma, Lakewood, Mentor, Sandusky, Mansfield, Marietta, Dublin, Dover, Wooster, Springfield and many more.

Ohio Showcase will feature Ohio travel, including museums, fishing, libraries, sports, performing arts, diverse industries, attractions, parks, hunting, colleges, hotels, jobs, news sources, Amish country, Hocking Hills, Ohio lakes and more.

Some personal blogs created by Ohioans may be accepted as well if they’re focused on an Ohio cause or community. Gambling, drug and adult-themed web sites won’t be included. Mainstream religious web sites are welcome like Christian, Jewish and Muslim (but not cults).
