Vector Software, the leading provider of dynamic software testing applications for embedded systems, announced today support for the Fujitsu Softune compiler for selected FFMC-16 chips. This first integration between the VectorCAST/C++ unit and integration test tool and the Fujitsu platform fully automates test case execution on simulator, and can be extended to a variety of physical targets. These new facilities in VectorCAST can also be extended to other select Fujitsu chips such as FFMC-32 and FFMC-8.
This latest integration has already been licensed to a Korean supplier organization, which will use it to test software for its engine components. It is now available from VectorCAST version 5.2b onward. In addition to the VectorCAST/C++ unit and integration test tool, Vector Software’s code coverage tool, VectorCAST/Cover, can also interact with the Fujitsu Softune compiler.
“This integration demonstrates our unparalleled expertise in terms of test automation and environment integration,” said Bill McCaffrey, chief operating officer at Vector Software. “Thanks to this new development, we are bringing the advantages of fully automated unit, integration software testing, and code coverage to a whole new group of users in Automotive, Railway, and other industries.”
