Another Great Night of Stand-up at London's Newest Comedy Club

Magner’s Funhouse Comedy, one of the country’s leading promoters and bookers of comedy, is very excited to announce another great comedy night in the heart of London at Arnold’s Music and Comedy Bar. The weekly Thursday shows will feature some of the UK’s finest acts and the next great night is on Thursday April 14th.

The show features the stupendously talented musical comedian Rob Deering. Rob has been wowing audiences for years with his unique blend of hilarious stories and guitar wizardry. He covers topics ranging from pop culture to tiddly-winks, all with that unique blend of cheeky egotism. He’s been tipped to be the next big thing on TV and it’s no surprise that Time Out magazine described him as “one of the leading stand-ups of his generation”.

Also featuring Portuguese comic sensation Philberto. Philberto burst onto the British comedy scene two years ago and since then has been making waves at all the big clubs. His effortless combination of jokes and machismo have seen him headline at all the major venues including Jongleurs and the Comedy Store.

In support of these two fine acts is the superb up-and-comer Matt Richardson. Matt’s brief career in comedy has already seen him reach the final of two major stand-up competitions and he’s been described by TV regular Hal Cruttenden as “the future of comedy”.

And finally the show will be hosted by the extraordinary comedy magician Javier Jarquin. His dexterity and skills with a pack of cards defy logic and gravity and it’s small surprise that he’s been dubbed “the playing-card ninja.”
