Marketing Agency Takes Home Five “BEST” Awards in Internet Advertising Competition

Hitchcock Fleming & Associates (hfa) earned BEST OF SHOW RICH MEDIA ONLINE AD and BEST HEALTHCARE PROVIDER RICH MEDIA ONLINE AD in the international Web Marketing Association’s (WMA) 9th annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards. hfa won for development of Akron General Health System’s Our ER Wait Times banner. For the second consecutive year hfa has won BEST OF SHOW in a WMA competition.

The full-service marketing and communications firm based in Akron, Ohio, won four additional IAC BEST awards.

The IAC Awards are conducted annually by the WMA to honor excellence in online advertising and to recognize the individuals and organizations responsible for the best in Internet marketing. The IAC Awards are the first and only industry-based advertising award competition dedicated exclusively to online advertising.

Judging criteria were based on creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting and use of the medium.

Consumers could click on hfa’s winning Akron General banner ad to learn current average wait times for the health system’s four emergency departments.
