Jetset Studios, one of the entertainment industry’s leading digital agencies, recently launched an original scripted online game for the premiere of Fox TV’s Breaking In, starring Christian Slater. The announcement was jointly made today by Jetset Studios co-founders Russell Scott and Patrick Young.
For the new series, Jetset Studios created “Try Breaking In” (http://www.trybreakingin.com). In this video-driven game, users are invited by Oz, the CEO of Contra Securities (Christian Slater) to break into his company by guessing the right password in the shortest amount of time. Guess wrong and Slater delivers a snarky comment. A correct guess will get you grudging congratulations and a chance to win prizes from Sony Electronics.
Jetset CEO Russell Scott states, “Breaking In was a dream project for us. The opportunity to work with Christian Slater on an original piece was amazing.”
Jetset president and exec producer Patrick Young notes, “Christian really had fun with it, and that’s what makes this experience so great. By allowing the audience to interact with his character, we bring them into the story and create an emotional connection even before the show debuts.”
Breaking In is an offbeat half-hour workplace comedy about a high-tech security firm that takes extreme - and often questionable - measures to sell their protection services. Created by Adam F. Goldberg and Seth Gordon and starring Christian Slater, the series centers on a team of uniquely skilled oddball geniuses hand-picked to work for a manipulative mastermind. Breaking In is produced by Happy Madison Productions, Adam F. Goldberg Productions and Sethsquatch, Inc. in association with Sony Pictures Television.
Jetset Studios has created original video, online campaigns, ARGs and branding strategies for Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers Pictures, The Walt Disney Company, Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, DreamWorks Pictures, 20th Century Fox, TNT, FX, NBC and others. Jetset Studios serves as writer/director/producer Judd Apatow’s online creative agency of choice, having produced viral features and websites for Bridesmaids, Funny People, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Step Brothers, Superbad, The 40 Year-Old Virgin, Talladega Nights, and Knocked Up. Other projects include websites, features and games for Paul, Get Him To The Greek, How Do You Know, Let Me In, Hot Tub Time Machine, The Hangover and Obsessed.
