The growing need for internet service constantly challenges internet service providers to develop and refine wireless technology. Of special importance is providing wireless last mile, high bandwidth transport and broadcast access across wide geographical areas. With the addition of RADWIN's HPMP 5000 Series, WirelessGuys is again, well-positioned as a forerunner in the wireless solutions arena.

WirelessGuys, an innovative wireless solutions provider based in Moorpark and Concord, CA., announced today the addition of RADWIN's new HPMP 5000 Series into its already impressive product line. RADWIN's expertise in providing telco-grade TDM and Ethernet over a single wireless link makes it a leading provider in the Sub-6GHz domain. Its backhaul and access solutions empower carriers and service providers with the ability to connect subscribers worldwide. The introduction of the new RADWIN HPMP 5000 Series enables WirelessGuys to continue to design new and more efficient wireless systems.

The RADWIN 5000 HPMP series is a best-of-breed high capacity PtMP solution for last mile enterprise connectivity and high-end applications. Its high base station capacity per sector with 200Mbps aggregate throughput and Ethernet connectivity per sector unit and highest spectrum efficiency for greater ROI (5bps/Hx) allows for the best user experience. High capacity end user equipment provides speeds of 10, 20 and 50 Mbps and up to 16 SUs per sector with guaranteed SLA for demanding applications. Its small and constant latency with typical 4 to 10 msec under full sector load and the wide range of frequency bands, 4.9 to 5.8 GHZ appealing factors.

Service features include a Configurable Maximum Information Rate (MIR) per SU with enhanced QoS (4 level queue per SU) networking features including VLAN and QinQ per SU. Of significant importance is the range capability of up to 40km at 20Mbps.

RADWIN’s advanced OFDM and MiMo 2x2 diversity enhance nLOS performance and make the HPMP 5000 series product line an excellent choice. Inter and intra site sync enhanced interference mitigation capability, provides the advantage of reduction of self interference. Another advantage is the dedicated traffic bandwidth allocation ensuring SLA and low latency with a minimum of 3msec and typical 4 to 10 msec with channel BW of 10, 20, and 40 MHz, meeting all FCC/ETSI/WPC/UNI/ and MII regulations.

Important operational factors are the easily deployable and configurable multiband base stations and SUs, fully compatible with RADWIN Lagacy solutions. The 5000 series also co-exists with the RADWIN 2000/WinLink 1000 and can be provisioned by a common RADWIN manager and monitored with the existing RADWIN Network Management Server (“RNMS”).

Overall, the value proposition of the RADWIN 5000 HPMP is exceptional. It's high capacity capabilities complimenting BW demanding and high-end applications in urban and rural deployments makes it a near necessity for service providers, government and enterprise networks. Service providers will be impressed with it’s performance in rural and remote broadband connectivity, backhaul access solutions, e.g., wireless PtMP.

Broadband connectivity between headquarters and branch offices will improve efficiency and prove to be cost effective for government and enterprise networks.

With the addition of the RADWIN HPMP 5000 series, WirelessGuys continues its dedication to providing exceptional customer service by, once again, insinuating itself into the forefront of cutting edge technology.
