Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) April 7, 2011
Allan Starr, president/CEO of Phoenix based Marketing Partners of Arizona, a strategic marketing, advertising and public relations agency founded in 1976, has announced his firm’s acquisition of Phoenix-based Celestial Care as a new client.
The firm, which recently was purchased by Rodney Wacker, a longtime top executive with MAP, was founded by two registered nurses in 1997. Celestial Care, whose tagline is Exceptional Private Nursing Services, offers three levels of care: registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants.
As he assumed the helm, Wacker stated, “Our mission is to care for people who require assistance with their daily needs at home, whether they currently are involved with a hospice, have recently been discharged from a medical facility or simply are of an age and/or health status that requires care and assistance at home. Our specialty is caring for the loved ones of clients who are most particular about the quality of the home care they receive.”
He added, “We are proud to have earned a reputation within the medical, legal, insurance, financial, institutional care and general communities as providers of an exceptional quality of home care that is a cut above the typical organization of our type. Our success has been built upon a solid foundation of referrals from individuals in these fields, as well as current and former clients.”
Douglas M. Lakin, M.D., head of Scottsdale’s Paradise Valley Medical Clinic, is the company’s medical director, and Sarah Hefferman, R.N., one of Celestial’s original founders, serves as director of nursing.
Starr said his marketing, advertising and public relations agency will help to develop and supervise conventional and interactive marketing for the nursing care provider.
