Ablaze Candles will donate 20 percent of all candles sold in April to the Arbor Day Foundation

Eco-friendly and sustainable Ablaze Candles are lighting the way in support of the Arbor Day Foundation and Earth Month in a new partnership dedicated to helping the environment by planting trees, one luminary at a time, throughout the entire month of April.

Ablaze Candles will donate 20 percent of all candles sold in April to the Arbor Day Foundation when customers use the code word “TREE” when they purchase candles at http://www.ablazecandles.com.

Ablaze Candles has more than 200 hand-crafted decorated luminaries with unique designs, from contemporary to classic. Ablaze Candles glow like marble, are washable and last a lifetime. They can be used as serving vessels, vases, candy dishes or ice buckets. They can also be floated in water for a truly captivating look. Each Ablaze Candle comes with a crystal votive holder and votive candle that rest on a clear, protective disc embedded inside the bottom of the candle. When you light Ablaze Candles, the entire wax sculpture glows brilliantly.

“At Ablaze we are dedicated to keeping our world beautiful for our children,” said Babak Motamedi, Prinicpal of Ablaze Candles. “Each tree we plant cleans our air, provides shelter and sustenance for animals, and ensures a better tomorrow for our grandchildren. We’re proud and honored to be partnered with such a wonderful organization!”

Ablaze Candles serves as an example of a company that is committed to improving the environment by planting trees,” said Kathy Wheeler, Account Executive at the Arbor Day Foundation. “The trees planted by Ablaze Candles will not only add beauty to our forests, they will help clean the air and water sources, and improve habitat for countless species of wildfire.”

The Arbor Day Foundation will work with the U.S. Forest Service or the National Association of State Foresters to plant trees in our nation’s forests that have been damaged by wildfire, insects or disease with the proceeds from Ablaze Candles. The Foundation is the nation’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to planting trees, planting and distributing 14 million trees in 2010.

About the Arbor Day Foundation: The Arbor Day Foundation is a nonprofit conservation organization of more than 1 million members, with a mission to inspire people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. More information on the Foundation and its programs can be found at arborday.org.
