Steven and Melanie have been with the firm for a number of years and have consistently demonstrated their superior legal skills and their passion for client advocacy.

Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C., has further underlined its reputation as one of the nation’s leading litigation firms with the appointment of two new shareholders, Steven G. Greenlee and Melanie S. Bailey.

Burg Simpson managing shareholder Kerry N. Jardine said, “It is my privilege to announce Steven’s and Melanie’s elevation to shareholder. Steven and Melanie have been with the firm for a number of years and have consistently demonstrated their superior legal skills, their passion for client advocacy and a strong involvement in their respective communities. Steven and Melanie’s leadership skills will be put to good use, as the firm continues to grow its national litigation practice.”

Mr. Greenlee has nearly seventeen years' experience in representing international, national and local corporations, insurance companies, businesses, and individuals in both plaintiff and defense litigation. "Steve's high-level analysis and powerful writing are instrumental in providing successful representation to the firm's clients," said Kerry Jardine.

Mr. Greenlee, who graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law with honors, is admitted to practice in both Wyoming and Colorado state and federal courts. Mr. Greenlee recently served on the Board of Governors for the Up with People International Alumni Association, the 20,000 member organization of the international performing and community service group, Up with People, and has recently volunteered his time to help sort and pack medical supplies at Project C.U.R.E.

Ms. Bailey has practiced law for nearly fifteen years and is a member of the firm's Cincinnati's office. Her practice includes complex civil litigation, products liability, and class action litigation. "Melanie's dedication and ability to skillfully navigate complex litigation are critical to providing the highest level of service to our clients," said Janet G. Abaray, managing shareholder of the firm's Ohio office. Ms. Bailey earned her undergraduate degree from the Northern Kentucky University, cum laude, and her law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, cum laude. She is admitted to practice in both Kentucky and Ohio state and federal courts.
