With oil prices on the steady rise BIG K ENERGY Corporation of Texas is actively engaged in the managing and drilling of one of the largest horizontal oil and gas wells in the Eastern Permian Basin.

Along with BIG K ENERGY, expert opinion for initial production from the well is estimated at 750 barrels of oil daily and 1100 MCF of natural gas. Flat line or settled production estimates are 300 barrels of oil per day and 375 MCF of the natural gas. According to BIG K ENERGY, the initial heavy flow should continue for 5-12 months and the flat line production could run up to 5 to 8 years.

Progress reports regarding the 320 acre lease located approximately 25 miles west of Abilene, Texas, generated by BIG K ENERGY's field operations manager Gary Egelhoff are as follows: Choate Well Services (Big Spring, Texas) has completed the shallow (250-275 ft deep) fresh water well needed for BIG K ENERGY's massive 8 to 10 stage hydraulic fracture process. Bill Price Construction has successfully cleared the field and built the large rig pad. Price is in the process of widening the access road to the location to accommodate the arrival Union Drilling Inc. (Dallas, Texas) . UDI is scheduled to have the drilling rig on location no later than April, 18, 2011.
