Graphic design student from Vermont wins $75 for snowboarding equipment

Topia Road, an interactive online magazine, announced the winner of its first user driven contest, which encouraged avid skiers and snowboarders to submit their personal photos and videos doing what they love.

After reviewing submissions it was determined that Charlie Stemen, a graphic design student from Champlain College in Vermont provided the best photos and videos. In an effort to gain traction in the social media sphere, Topia Road has posted the photos and videos on its Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/TopiaRoad.

Topia Road publisher, George Aspland, said “It’s great to give a college student $75 for providing our company with awesome photos and videos. It’s even better to know the money will go back into the sport that he is so passionate about.”

The contest ran from January 1st through March 31st and focused on capturing skiing and snowboarding photos and videos. Topia Road will be announcing the next contest at the end of April that focuses on cycling.
