The Trade Show News Network, owned by U.K.-based Tarsus Group and run under its Tarsus Advon division, and Hong Kong-based Business Strategies Group (BSG), a consultancy focused on the business-to-business media industry in Asia, have announced a strategic partnership that will include the launch of the TSNN Asia Exhibition News e-newsletter covering the exhibition business in Asia.

The bi-monthly TSNN Asia Exhibition News e-newsletter will launch April 28th and feature news for show managers, meeting planners and suppliers in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as show managers and suppliers interested in the Asian markets.

"With the demand for timely news and content for a global community, there is a pressing need for delivering relevant show information from all corners of the world,” said Stephen Nold, president of Tarsus Advon. “With the trade show industry growing in Asia, collaboration with market expert BSG allows us to apply resources to create a first-class TSNN newsletter that our subscribers will find interesting and useful.”

Mark Cochrane, BSG’s managing director, added. “TSNN has long been a leading online resource serving the exhibition industry. BSG, with more than 10 years experience researching the Asian exhibition industry, looks forward to partnering with TSNN to extend and expand its coverage into the region. The launch of the TSNN Asia Exhibition News e-newsletter will provide key exhibition industry players – including venues, organisers, contractors and government organisations - with regular updates and insights into the fastest-growing exhibition market in the world.”

Terry Friesenborg, senior vice president of International Development for InfoComm International, who oversees InfoComm China, on tap April 13-15 in Beijing, said “InfoComm has been organizing tradeshows in Asia for 16 years, and we know that, while the market is full of opportunity, there are many challenges for U.S, for-profit organizers and associations alike.“

He added, “Having a (U.S.-based) e-newsletter that is focused on these issues will be of great value for both those that are already in the market and those that are evaluating the potential of launching an event in Asia. I look forward to the first issue.”

TSNN Asia Exhibition News will join a suite of e-newsletters offered by TSNN that include The Industry This Week, a weekly newsletter focused on the trade show industry; TSNN Breaking News, with all the news as it happens; and MedShow Monthly, serving the medical show market, to name a few.
