Michelle Haag Joins LEVEL Studios as Vice President, Customer Experience

Silicon Valley veteran brings cross-platform business and design experience to Rosetta’s West Coast studios

In the wake of Ad Age’s announcement of Rosetta as the #1 Agency to Watch in 2011, our company will continue placing heavy emphasis on expanding our research, planning and user experience disciplines across desktop, web, mobile and TV platforms.

LEVEL, a Rosetta company, today announced the hiring of Michelle Haag as Vice President, Customer Experience. An accomplished leader in the field of user experience and design, Haag will oversee a multidisciplinary business unit of user experience, content strategy, business strategy and usability services. Haag will operate out of the agency’s San Jose, California location, but will additionally support LEVEL clients spanning all three West Coast studios, including Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo. LEVEL clients include RIM, VIZIO, Facebook and Cisco, among others.

Prior to joining LEVEL, Haag was a Vice President of Global Products and User Experience Design for GlobalEnglish where she was responsible for product and program management, user experience, content development and customer support. She also spent four years at Yahoo! serving in several strategic senior leadership roles, most recently as Senior Director of User Experience Design for Global Mobile Products and Sites. Haag worked closely with Yahoo! Sports, News and Finance bringing those experiences to mobile platforms and partnered with major advertisers such as MTV, NBC and eBay to build relevant and profitable brand experiences.

Haag’s additional experience includes five years with IBM Rational Software as a Senior Manager for User Experience Design and Web Production where she developed short and long-term design strategies for all Web applications. She also worked with Pets.com and Documentum in similar management and UX design capacities.
